The Scoreboard

At the beginning of the school year I introduce the "scoreboard."  Many of you probably heard the kids talking about how we went ice-skating inside the classroom.  Well it's true! They really did! ;)

The scoreboard is a tool that I use to keep kids engaged and motivated.  I take it out once a day and track happy and sad faces.  To earn a happy face kids are facing forward, are participating and have lots of energy! We play this game usually during our Math time for about an hour.  The goal is to get 15 happy faces.
